Using the Bible as our foundation we will honor God by growing in faith and love, sharing Jesus and giving generously
Spirit of Hope Worship
At Spirit of Hope Lutheran Church we have an informal worship style. Come as you are, wearing whatever attire you feel comfortable in. Some of our worshippers wear suits and ties or dresses while others come in shorts, jeans and T-shirts. Our services are mostly a blend of traditional hymns and liturgy and more contemporary songs.
Sermons are commonly taken directly from the Bible as we "preach through" entire books of the Bible.
Past books have included Ephesians, Matthew, Nehemiah, 1, 2, 3 John, 1 & 2 Peter, 1 & 2 Thessalonians,
Titus, and Acts.
Spirit of Hope celebrates the Lord's Supper each Sunday and has an open communion practice. All who
believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and their Savior are welcome to come and receive Holy
Communion. Children grade five or age ten who have not yet had communion instruction are welcome
to come and receive a blessing. Grape juice and gluten free bread are available for those who need to
receive the Sacrament in that manner. We believe that Jesus is truly present, in with and under the
elements of the bread and wine as we eat and drink.
Come and join us and worship the Lord with a grateful and joyous heart!
